Job Summary
The Assistant Product Manager supports the development and execution of product strategies for ethical (non‑BPJS) healthcare products. This role has end‑to‑end responsibility across the product lifecycle, including new product launches and ongoing portfolio management, with a strong emphasis on market analysis, product performance, and pricing strategy.
The role ensures products are competitive, compliant, and aligned with business and customer needs.
General Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Lifecycle Management
- Support and execute end‑to‑end product strategy from pre‑launch to maturity phase
- Manage assigned product portfolios across the full product lifecycle (launch, growth, sustain, phase‑out)
- Develop annual product plans aligned with business objectives and market opportunities
- Monitor product performance and recommend corrective actions to drive growth and profitability
- Coordinate cross‑functionally to ensure smooth execution of product initiatives
New Product Launch
- Lead and support new product launches, including market assessment, positioning, and go‑to‑market planning
- Prepare launch timelines, sales tools, and key messages in collaboration with Sales and Medical teams
- Conduct competitive analysis and identify differentiation opportunities
- Track post‑launch performance and provide recommendations for optimization
Pricing Strategy & Commercial Support
- Support development and execution of pricing strategies for ethical (non‑BPJS) products
- Conduct pricing analysis, including cost structures, competitor prices, and margin impact
- Work closely with Finance and Sales to ensure pricing aligns with profitability and market positioning
- Support pricing approvals, price revisions, and promotional evaluations
- Monitor price performance and recommend adjustments based on market dynamics
Stakeholder & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales teams to support product knowledge, detailing messages, and field needs
- Coordinate with Medical, Regulatory, and Supply Chain to ensure compliance and product availability
- Liaise with principals or external partners when required
- Act as a key point of contact for assigned products
Functional Skills and Knowledge
- 2–4 years of experience in product management, marketing, or commercial roles within healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical devices industry
- Exposure to ethical healthcare products is strongly preferred
- Experience supporting product launches and managing existing portfolios
