Title:  Team Leader Credit Control

About The Role

Team Leader, AR is a key contributor to DKSH's financial resilience, ensuring disciplined management of accounts receivable and strict adherence to credit policies across assigned customer portfolios. This role plays a direct part in protecting cash flow and sustaining the financial performance that enables DKSH to deliver long-term value to clients and business partners across Asia.

What You Will Deliver

• Monitor and control outstanding credit on a daily basis, evaluating accounts receivable status before approving order releases in accordance with credit policies.
• Manage and follow up on accounts receivable (AR) for assigned customer portfolios, maintaining proactive communication with customers on outstanding balances and collection plans.
• Coordinate with the collections team on daily and monthly AR action plans to ensure timely and effective recovery of outstanding balances.
• Organize and maintain accurate AR documentation in line with company credit control policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate closely with clients, the Sales team, Key Account Management (KAM), and Credit Management (CM) teams to resolve AR-related issues and provide required documentation.
• Monitor team performance and support the Credit Control Manager in team development, target-setting, and ensuring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are achieved.
• Manage bad debt cases and assist the Credit Control Manager in implementing corrective and preventive measures.
• Prepare monthly AR reconciliation reports and credit-related reporting to support financial oversight and informed decision-making.
• Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• At least 2 years of experience in a credit control or equivalent role
• Sound knowledge of local and international accounting standards, principles, and practices; credit control experience is preferred
• Hands-on experience with SAP accounting applications is an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken
