About the Role

The Technical Service Specialist drives technical and commercial growth within DKSH's Performance Materials business by delivering impactful savory flavour solutions for the Food and Beverage Ingredients sector. This role bridges application expertise with business development to deepen client engagement and accelerate revenue growth.

What You Will Deliver

• Provide technical and application service support across savory flavour categories, including flavour selection, implementation, and customer briefing
• Apply knowledge of food formulation and processing across applications such as instant noodles, sauces, seasoning to optimize flavour outcomes
• Manage customer project briefs and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely, high-quality submissions and documentation
• Maintain and upgrade the flavour portfolio, and conduct sensory evaluations of existing and potential library flavours
• Identify new business opportunities in collaboration with Sales and Marketing, and support customer visits to accelerate flavour project wins
• Build and execute annual marketing and roadshow plans to promote savory flavour concepts aligned with client objectives
• Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or a related field; sensory evaluation background is an advantage
  Minimum five years of experience in a similar role, with hands-on savory flavour application experience required
• Strong understanding of flavour technology, food ingredients, additives, and food processing applications
• Business-to-Business (B2B) commercial acumen with a technical, solution-oriented approachp
• Familiarity with sales cycles, client management, and market analysis; experience in technical sales is highly desirable
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills
