Job Summary

  • Provide finance business partnering support for FMCG, ensuring strong financial visibility, profitability management, and business performance optimization.
  • Perform month-end closing, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for FMCG operations.
  • Work closely with Business development team to analyze PnL for new business, new clients.
  • Support management in identifying growth opportunities while maintaining sustainable margins in highly dynamic online business environments.
  • Partner closely with E-commerce commercial teams to analyze sales performance, platform profitability, promotional ROI, and channel investments.
  • Monitor E-commerce pricing, trade terms, platform fees, campaign spending, and customer profitability to support strategic decision-making.
  • Review and improve E-commerce financial processes, including claims, rebates, platform charges, promotional accruals, and sales reconciliation.
  • Identify financial risks such as margin leakage, under-recovery of platform investments, pricing issues, or inaccurate commercial assumptions.
  • Drive data accuracy and timely reporting to support fast-paced E-commerce business decisions.

General Responsibilities

  • Perform month-end closing tasks, ensuring sales, gross profit, and expenses spending are accurately recorded.
  • Prepare monthly business performance reports, budget variance analysis, and profitability insights.
  • Analyze promotional campaigns, platform investments, and pricing strategies to evaluate ROI and business effectiveness.
  • Partner with sales and E-commerce teams on scenario planning, business case evaluations, and commercial investment decisions.
  • Monitor platform fees, rebates, claims, and customer deductions to ensure financial accuracy and full recovery.
  • Identify and address risks related to online channel operations, including pricing discrepancies, margin leakage, promotional overspending, and inaccurate accruals.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting, including revenue, margins, and expenses planning.
  • Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and commercial teams to improve E-commerce operational efficiency.
  • Drive process improvements for reporting automation, sales reconciliation, and financial controls.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and recommendations to management

Functional Skills and Knowledge

  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant finance/ business partnering experience
  • Experience in FMCG, commercial finance, or E-commerce finance is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in fast-paced, data-driven business environments is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of management accounting, financial planning & analysis, and commercial finance.
  • Solid understanding of E-commerce business models, platform economics, and online promotional mechanics.
  • Experience in month-end closing, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis.
  • Strong analytical capability in pricing, profitability, and ROI analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP/ERP systems, Excel, and BI/reporting tools.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both in written and spoken.

Education

  • Bachelor, Finance major
  • CMA/ACCA/CFA certification is a plus.
