About The Role
The Sales Manager, Business Line leads a results-driven sales team to deliver commercial and financial goals across key channels in the Hair Professional, Cosmetics, and Beauty industry. This role is central to DKSH's growth agenda, driving outlet coverage expansion, strengthening client partnerships, and ensuring consistent, measurable business performance across the region.
What You Will Deliver
- Own and deliver net sales and coverage targets, ensuring consistent achievement of commercial goals across assigned regions
- Develop and execute strategic trade visit plans to expand the brand and customer portfolio footprint nationwide
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with key accounts, driving excellence in customer engagement across all channels
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Education, and Client Management teams to design and execute effective Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and loyalty programs
- Analyze market, customer, and consumer trends to deliver actionable insights and recommendations that continuously strengthen Marketing and Education initiatives
- Monitor, coach, and develop Sales Representatives (SRs) to maximize individual and team performance, including proactive reallocation of territories to improve productivity
- Partner with the Education Expert team to conduct monthly performance reviews covering both sales and technical dimensions
- Monitor stock levels and forecast accuracy by Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) in alignment with sales planning and allocation requirements
- Implement self-life controls and take swift corrective action on near-expiry stock to minimize business losses
- Coordinate with warehouse and transportation teams to optimize workflows and ensure timely, efficient delivery to customers
- Lead the team in tracking and driving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including sales, distribution, visibility, inventory, and forecast accuracy
- Generate performance reports and data analysis, providing proactive action plans that support informed business decision-making
- Coach and develop direct reports through structured quarterly feedback sessions, documenting and following up on individual improvement plans
- Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce or a related field
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a relevant sales or client management role
- Proven background in Commerce and Sales within the Hair Professional, Cosmetics, or Beauty industry
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders effectively
- Demonstrated capability in sales management and team performance coaching
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and manage high-performing teams
- Ability to drive innovation and embrace continuous improvement in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
