About the Role

The Sales Engineer promotes and sells DKSH Technology's product portfolio with the objective of achieving profit margin targets and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction. This role combines technical expertise and commercial acumen to build strong customer relationships, grow market presence, and drive sustainable revenue performance.

General Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute market research studies, analyze results, and produce reports and recommendations on product viability, market segments, and target customers to support business opportunity decisions
  • Gather and consolidate market intelligence including customer feedback and competitor activities to contribute to annual sales forecasting and marketing planning
  • Develop and localize marketing materials including brochures, leaflets, and newsletters, and support customer engagement through marketing campaigns and product seminars
  • Drive sales performance by visiting customers, assessing needs, providing technical product advice, developing and negotiating contracts, and concluding sales to achieve revenue and profit margin targets
  • Monitor payment schedules and propose solutions for outstanding debt management
  • Prepare complete and accurate technical and commercial tender documents to meet customer requirements and strengthen DKSH's competitive position
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery process including order confirmation, inspection, customs clearance guidance, pre-installation coordination, and commissioning follow-up
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular visits, complaint resolution, warranty issue management, and cross-functional coordination for troubleshooting
  • Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related Technology discipline
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in technical sales or a related commercial role
  • Proficiency in computer applications and standard office productivity tools
  • Good command of English across listening, speaking, reading, and writing
  • Strong selling, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Basic understanding of foreign trade regulations
