Job Summary
Lead and drive the overall sales strategy and execution across Modern Trade, General Trade, E-Commerce, and Key Account Management to achieve revenue, profitability, and distribution targets. Strengthen route-to-market capabilities, build strategic customer partnerships, and develop a high-performing, omni-channel sales organization to support sustainable business growth for DKSH and its clients.
General Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & P&L Management
- Drive overall commercial performance, including Net Sales, Gross Profit, and Sales Margin across MT, GT, and emerging channels
- Lead business planning, forecasting, target setting, channel strategy, and trade investment optimization with strong ROI focus
- Identify and drive growth initiatives, including channel expansion, portfolio growth, and market development
Route-to-Market & Channel Development
- Optimize nationwide route-to-market strategy, GT coverage, distributor capability, and territory management
- Strengthen MT strategic selling, joint business planning, and category partnerships with key accounts
- Lead channel segmentation and resource allocation to maximize business returns
Customer & Commercial Excellence
- Build strategic relationships with retailers, distributors, clients, and key stakeholders
- Translate client strategies into actionable customer and channel growth plans
- Drive excellence in 5P execution, sales governance, promotional effectiveness, and performance management
- Utilize commercial analytics and market insights to identify growth opportunities and business improvements
E-Commerce & Digital Commerce
- Develop and execute e-commerce strategies across marketplaces, D2C, and quick commerce platforms
- Drive online sales growth, digital shelf excellence, and platform partnerships (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, etc.)
- Leverage digital analytics and performance metrics to improve ROI and commercial effectiveness
Key Account Management
- Lead KAM team to deliver revenue growth, joint business plans, and customer excellence
- Strengthen strategic partnerships through category strategy, promotions, and in-store execution
- Coach and develop KAM capabilities while monitoring commercial KPIs and customer satisfaction
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, HR, Operations, and Client Management to drive operational excellence and supply chain alignment
- Improve forecast accuracy, inventory health, and end-to-end business performance
Functional Skills and Knowledge
- Strong commercial and P&L management capability with proven growth achievements
- Expertise in MT & GT management, route-to-market strategy, distributor, and key account leadership
- Hands-on experience in e-commerce platforms, digital commerce, and online marketplace management
- Strong skills in strategic planning, forecasting, trade investment, and category management
- Good understanding of retail operations, shopper insights, and 5P execution
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.
