About the Role

The Product Marketing role is responsible for driving the commercialization of assigned product portfolios by working closely with Sales teams and Clients. This role ensures effective marketing planning, pricing strategy, and sales enablement to achieve business growth and profitability targets.

General Responsibilities

Product & Portfolio Management

• Manage assigned product portfolio across lifecycle stages (launch, growth, optimization).

• Develop product positioning, value proposition, and go-to-market strategies.

• Monitor product performance (sales, margin, market share) and recommend actions for improvement.

 

Marketing Planning & Execution

• Develop and implement annual and quarterly product marketing plans aligned with business targets.

• Coordinate Clients-driven marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities.

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to execute marketing initiatives effectively.

 

Supplier Management & Price Negotiation

• Act as the key point of contact between DKSH and suppliers.

• Conduct price negotiations and commercial discussions with Clients to optimize margins and competitiveness.

• Align supplier strategies with local market needs and DKSH business objectives.

 

Sales Enablement & Support

• Partner closely with Sales teams to drive product sales and pipeline growth.

• Provide product training, technical information, and marketing materials to support Sales.

• Participate in customer visits, joint sales calls, and key account development when needed.

 

Market & Competitive Analysis

• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.

• Identify business opportunities and propose new product introduction or portfolio optimization.

• Provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

 

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

• Track key KPIs such as sales performance, gross margin, and campaign effectiveness.

• Prepare regular reports and business reviews for internal stakeholders and suppliers.

• Ensure alignment with DKSH compliance and corporate guidelines.

 

Leadership responsibilities

• Demonstrate ownership of product performance and act as a mini business owner for assigned portfolio.

• Lead cross-functional collaboration between Sales, Suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

• Influence stakeholders without direct authority to ensure alignment and execution.

• Drive a performance-driven culture with clear accountability on results (sales & margin).

What You Bring

Work experience

• 3–7 years of experience in product marketing, technical sales, or business development (preferably in B2B / technology-related industries).

• Experience working with international suppliers is a plus.

 

Functional skills and knowledge

• Strong understanding of B2B product marketing and commercial management.

• Solid experience in pricing strategy and supplier negotiation.

• Knowledge of go-to-market strategy, product lifecycle management, and portfolio optimization.

• Good business acumen with understanding of P&L drivers (revenue, margin, cost).

• Ability to interpret market data, sales data, and financial metrics for decision making.

• Familiarity with technical/industrial products or solutions (preferred in Technology BU context).

• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint); CRM/SAP exposure is a plus.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or relevant field.
