Title:  *Manager, Hospital Sourcing Management

Job Summary

Responsible for negotiating the purchase of drug & medical supplies from suppliers for hospitals.

General Responsibilities

• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement of drug & medical supplies.
• Manage supplier relationships and maintain a supplier database.
• Develop procurement strategies that align with the company’s needs.
• Coordinate with hospital departments to determine their supply needs.
• Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand for services and products.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers, customs, shipping and logistics companies, etc. as part of maintaining the sustainability of services provided

Functional Skills and Knowledge

• Proven experience in procurement, specifically within a hospital setting.
• Experience with tendering and procurement process of hospital.
• Knowledge of medical equipment and supplies.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrate fluency in English (both written and spoken)
• Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

Education

Degree or professional qualification in Business Administration or related field
