Title:  *General Accountant (temp 7 months)

About The Role

The General Accounting is a key contributor to DKSH's Finance function, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of accounting operations in line with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), tax regulations, and Group Finance guidelines. This role supports the Chief Accountant in driving sound financial controls, compliance, and continuous process improvement across the business unit.

What You Will Deliver

• Ensure the accuracy and compliance of all accounting entries, including payment vouchers (PVs), journal vouchers (JVs), accruals, provisions, allocations, and costing, in accordance with VAS, tax regulations, and Group Finance guidelines.
• Oversee Intercompany Account management, including booking, contract management, and reconciliation with internal and overseas counterparts, to maintain financial accuracy and transparency.
• Lead the preparation and declaration of Value Added Tax (VAT), Foreign Withholding Tax (FWCT), and Corporate Income Tax (CIT) reports, ensuring timely and accurate submission to the Tax Authority.
• Ensure the Financial Information (FI) month-end checklist is consistently completed, supporting a disciplined and controlled month-end close process.
• Support the Chief Accountant in managing engagements with the Tax Authority and in internal and external audit processes.
• Prepare financial data for VAS Financial Statements (FS), CIT, and Transfer Pricing (TP) for audit purposes, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of accounting policies and procedures, supporting stronger controls and operational efficiency across the team.
• Implement strategic plans that drive departmental goals and contribute to the overall performance of the Finance function.

What You Bring

• Diploma or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Up to two years of experience in a similar accounting role
• Foundational knowledge of local and international accounting standards, principles, and practices
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft (MS) Office; hands-on experience with SAP accounting applications is an advantage
• Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local legislation is an advantage
• Strong research and analytical skills with sound attention to detail
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and departments
• Excellent organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectivelyFluency in Vietnamese; proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is an advantage
