Job Summary
A dynamic and results-oriented Exectuive, Technical Sales in the chemical distribution sector, specifically focusing on rubber/ engineering plastics/ chemical applications. This role involves in managing and growing key customer relationships, pursuing new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.
General Responsibilities
- Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the Plastic & Rubber market. Understand customer needs and provide suitable solutions. - Business Development
Identify new opportunities within existing accounts and new markets. Develop strategies to expand customer base and market presence. - New Customer Acquisition
Research, approach, and qualify potential customers to convert them into active accounts. - Sales Support
Assist the Business Line Manager in executing sales plans, preparing proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations to achieve revenue targets. - Market Analysis
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and recommend improvements. - Collaboration
Work with marketing, product, logistics, and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery, inventory management, and customer satisfaction. - Reporting & Compliance
Maintain accurate sales records, prepare performance reports, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. - Other tasks as assigned by the Line Manager.
Functional Skills and Knowledge
- Proven experience in business development and new customer acquisition is a must.
- Strong knowledge of plastics & rubbers markets is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in the chemical distribution.
