Job Summary

A dynamic and results-oriented Exectuive, Technical Sales in the chemical distribution sector, specifically focusing on rubber/ engineering plastics/ chemical applications. This role involves in managing and growing key customer relationships, pursuing new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

General Responsibilities

  • Customer Relationship Management
    Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the Plastic & Rubber market. Understand customer needs and provide suitable solutions.
  • Business Development
    Identify new opportunities within existing accounts and new markets. Develop strategies to expand customer base and market presence.
  • New Customer Acquisition
    Research, approach, and qualify potential customers to convert them into active accounts.
  • Sales Support
    Assist the Business Line Manager in executing sales plans, preparing proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations to achieve revenue targets.
  • Market Analysis
    Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and recommend improvements.
  • Collaboration
    Work with marketing, product, logistics, and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery, inventory management, and customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting & Compliance
    Maintain accurate sales records, prepare performance reports, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Line Manager.

Functional Skills and Knowledge

  • Proven experience in business development and new customer acquisition is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of plastics & rubbers markets is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in the chemical distribution.
