Job Summary
The Supply Planner plays an essential role in the seamless operation of supply chain activities, ensuring that we have the right products in the warehouse for on-time delivery to customers, inventory levels are maintained in a manner that aligns with demand forecasts and business objectives. This position involves a careful balance of analyzing sales trends, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating with stakeholders to optimize inventory turnover and minimize overstock situations
General Responsibilities
1. Supply Planning & Forecasting
- Manage PO process and supplier coordination
- Maintain delivery schedules and SAP data
- Develop and monitor demand forecasts, analyze gaps, and improve accuracy
- Execute supply plans aligned with demand
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure order fulfillment
- Monitor supplier capacity and optimize supply plans
- Ensure KPIs: service level, product availability, forecast accuracy
2. Inventory Management
- Optimize inventory levels and prevent stock-outs/excess
- Monitor stock and coordinate replenishment
- Work with vendors/QA on quality issues
- Utilize SAP for tracking and reporting
3. S&OP Coordination
- Lead monthly S&OP meetings
- Align demand, supply, and financial plans
- Prepare reports and track execution
4. Risk Management
- Identify supply chain risks and disruptions
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions
- Develop contingency plans and improve forecasting
5. Reporting & Improvement
- Prepare reports and dashboards
- Track KPIs and provide insights
- Drive continuous process improvements
Functional Skills and Knowledge
- 5+ years in demand/supply planning (manufacturing, distribution, or FMCG); industrial spare parts experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of supply chain, forecasting, and inventory management
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (preferably SAP S/4 HANA)
- Advanced Excel/Power BI and data analysis skills
- Detail-oriented, able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Proactive, solution-driven, and improvement-focused
- Good English communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and ownership mindset
- Effective in cross-functional collaboration and independent work
Education
University degree with preferred Logistics and Supply Chain management, International Economics (APICS certification as a plus).
