Job Summary

Responsible for supporting cost monitoring, financial analysis and reporting for supply chain operations to enable effective operational and business decision-making. The role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial data, performs detailed cost and variance analyses, and delivers timely financial insights to drive performance.

General Responsibilities

  • Support monthly accounting close, ensuring supply chain financial transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Perform variance analysis on supply chain costs and financial performance metrics, providing insightful commentary.
  • Prepare periodic financial reports, including cost analysis, budget performance, and key supply chain metrics.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to monitor cost drivers and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting process for supply chain-related expenses.
  • Support and challenge business stakeholders to drive financial discipline and cost accountability.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data across systems and reports by performing data checks and reconciliations.
  • Provide timely financial information and analysis to support day-to-day operational and management decisions.
  • Support internal controls and compliance requirements related to supply chain finance processes.
  • Actively develop knowledge in supply chain finance, costing, and internal processes in line with corporate standards and professional ethics.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects or initiatives related to supply chain optimization and process improvement.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps, data issues, or reporting inefficiencies and proposing practical solutions.

Functional Skills and Knowledge

  • At least 2-4 years of relevant experience in finance, preferably in supply chain finance or business partnering roles.
  • SAP, Business Warehouse, and other financial systems.
  • Basic to intermediate understanding of supply chain costing, inventory-related costs, working capital management, and Supply Chain financial KPIs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to learn and develop understanding of financial risks and control requirements within supply chain operations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Fluency in English and local language (if applicable), both written and spoken.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • CMA/ACCA/CFA certification is a plus.
