Title:  Executive, Data Operations Ecommerce

Job Summary

Supervise service support related to data center hosting, design, management, disaster recovery services, service level mangement for Group-wide/in-country infrastructure hosting

General Responsibilities

• Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources
• Supervise the support available for monitoring, detecting, escalating, reporting and resolving system issues, capacity usage and trends in the data center environment
• Monitor and maintain processes, procedures, best practices, enterprise monitoring, disaster recovery/business continuity planning (data recovery/BCP), asset inventory management, system start-ups/shut-downs and reporting
• Supervise facility adherence to IT standards and security policies to ensure a secure environment 
• Monitor and maintain activities to ensure efficient service operations and adherence to service level agreements 
• Monitor vendor and contractor relationships to ensure data center needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Guide IT stakeholders on the implementation and future direction for housing production systems
• Participate in business recovery planning to ensure plans are in place in the event of a disaster 
• Ensure service level adherence
• Build strong working partnerships with other IT stakeholders

Functional Skills and Knowledge

• Demonstrate knowledge of data center facilities, operations and support
• Experience in commisioning and operating a data center hosting environment, preferably with similar equipment used by DKSH
• Familiarity with IT service management processes
• Demonstrate appreciation and respect for cultural sensitivities, especially in cross-country/culture interactions
• Proven competencies in handling confidential/sensitive information in an appropriate and secure manner 
• Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken 
• Be abreast of the latest data center facilities, best practices and trends
• Proven numeracy and excellent quantitative analysis skills
• Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

Education

Diploma or bachelor's degree in Computing/ Information Technology or equivalent
