Job Summary

  • The Executive, Inventory Planning Management plays a critical role in ensuring optimal inventory health and supply continuity for assigned clients within DKSH's Healthcare Supply Chain Management (SCM) function. This role combines demand forecasting, procurement coordination, and inventory control to maximize client service levels and support overall business performance.

General Responsibilities

  • Lead demand planning for pharmaceutical products by collaborating closely with Commercial and Marketing teams to develop accurate, data-driven forecasts that reflect market realities.
  • Analyze and document forecast dynamics including seasonality and promotional schemes, and constructively challenge sales forecasts with Account Managers to strengthen forecast accuracy.
  • Generate and analyze Forecast Accuracy Reports by Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) to identify trends, address gaps, and drive continuous improvement in planning quality.
  • Create and manage Purchase Orders (PO) with full oversight of quantity, SKU, pricing, delivery lead times, and payment terms to ensure accurate and timely procurement.
  • Collaborate with suppliers on product purchasing, following up proactively to ensure POs and shipments arrive on schedule while maintaining productive supplier relationships.Coordinate with Logistics and Financial Accounting (FA) teams to ensure accurate goods receipt posting in the SAP system.
  • Monitor supplier delivery schedules and proactively manage inventory levels by adjusting shipment timing to maintain healthy stock positions and prevent out-of-stock (OOS) situations.
  • Perform inventory analysis and provide data-backed recommendations on stock levels, costs, and forecasts to maximize customer service levels and inventory turns.
  • Expedite orders in response to forecast or actual sales changes to sustain targeted inventory levels and support business continuity.
  • Resolve product quality, quantity, and damage issues in collaboration with receiving, warehousing, and quality control teams.

Functional Skills and Knowledge

  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Planning, or a closely related field
  • Solid knowledge of supply chain and inventory management principles
  • Basic understanding of financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) relevant to inventory and procurement performance
  • Strong logical and analytical thinking with the ability to navigate and leverage supply chain systems effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
  • Effective communication skills in both English and Vietnamese

Education

  • Bachelor or MBA/certificate in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics or other related fields
