About The Role
- The Assistant Manager, HR Business Partnering supports assigned Healthcare business areas by translating business priorities into practical people solutions.
- Working closely with business leaders, the HRBP Director, and HR Centers of Expertise, the role supports workforce planning, organization effectiveness, talent management, performance, employee engagement, and employee relations.
- The role also acts as an L&D Champion, connecting business capability needs with the centralized L&D team and facilitating selected internal people-manager and HR learning programs.
What You Will Deliver
- Partner with assigned business leaders and managers to understand business priorities, organizational challenges, and workforce needs, providing practical HR advice and solutions aligned with business requirements and HR policies.
- Support workforce planning, organization design, restructuring, and change management initiatives that drive organizational effectiveness and business agility.
- Identify people-related risks and workforce trends, escalating significant issues to the HRBP Director to ensure proactive and timely resolution.
- Coordinate and facilitate talent review and succession planning activities for assigned business areas, supporting leaders in identifying critical roles, talent risks, development priorities, and succession actions.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on workforce requirements and recruitment priorities, and ensure effective onboarding and integration of key hires into the organization.
- Follow up with managers on agreed talent development and succession actions to drive accountability, momentum, and measurable progress.
- Support the implementation of the annual performance management cycle, including goal setting, performance reviews, calibration, and development planning.
- Coach managers on performance conversations, feedback, development planning, and people-management practices to strengthen leadership effectiveness across the Healthcare business.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and partner with leaders to address team effectiveness, engagement, and organizational climate challenges, ensuring agreed action plans are executed and tracked.
- Partner with Total Rewards and Human Resources (HR) Operations on annual salary reviews, promotions, organizational changes, and other compensation-related processes.
- Review and analyze workforce data to generate insights that support people decisions, monitor internal equity, and raise potential issues for review.
- Support and manage employee relations cases in partnership with the HRBP Director and relevant HR stakeholders, coaching managers on performance improvement, disciplinary matters, and employee relations situations.
- Ensure HR activities are implemented consistently with company policies, local labor requirements, and applicable governance standards, maintaining appropriate confidentiality and documentation for sensitive employee matters.
- Facilitate selected internal training sessions and workshops, including Performance Management Cycle, Personal Development Planning (PDP), feedback, goal setting, and people-manager processes. - 40% scope of works
- Coordinate with the centralized Learning & Development (L&D) team on training priorities, calendars, and program deployment to ensure business capability needs are met effectively.
- Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- 3 to 5 years of relevant HR experience, including at least 1 year in an HR Business Partnering or HR Generalist role
- Good understanding of core HR processes including performance management, talent management, employee relations, and compensation
- Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with experience facilitating small-to-medium-sized workshops or training sessions
