Job Summary

  • The Finance Business Partner – Technology acts as a strategic finance advisor to the TEC business, providing financial insights, performance analysis, and decision support to drive profitable growth, cash discipline, and operational efficiency. This role bridges finance and business, supporting management with forward-looking analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring, while ensuring strong financial governance and compliance.

General Responsibilities

  • Perform month-end closing tasks, ensuring sales, gross profit, and expenses spending are accurately recorded.
  • Prepare monthly business performance reports, budget variance analysis, and profitability insights.
  • Analyze promotional campaigns, platform investments, and pricing strategies to evaluate ROI and business effectiveness.
  • Partner with sales and E-commerce teams on scenario planning, business case evaluations, and commercial investment decisions.
  • Monitor platform fees, rebates, claims, and customer deductions to ensure financial accuracy and full recovery.
  • Identify and address risks related to online channel operations, including pricing discrepancies, margin leakage, promotional overspending, and inaccurate accruals.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting, including revenue, margins, and expenses planning.
  • Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and commercial teams to improve E-commerce operational efficiency.
  • Drive process improvements for reporting automation, sales reconciliation, and financial controls.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and recommendations to management

Functional Skills and Knowledge

  • Minimum 5 experience in a finance, management accounting, or business partnering (experience in distribution, technology, or B2B environment is an advantage).
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Advanced financial analysis and problem‑solving skills
  • Proven ability to challenge, influence, and support business leaders constructively
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and performance
  • Solid understanding of working capital, inventory, and cost structures.
  • Experience working with ERP and reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Power BI, Excel).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • High level of integrity, ownership, and attention to detail

Education

  • Degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
  • CMA/ACCA/CFA certification is a plus.
