Territory Manager – Whanganui/Taranaki

We are seeking a motivated Territory Manager to join our General Trade Sales Team, representing some of the world’s most trusted FMCG brands. Reporting to the National Field Sales Manager, you will take ownership of your territory, driving sales growth, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring our products achieve outstanding visibility and performance in-store.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Building strong customer relationships and delivering exceptional service
  • Driving sales growth across confectionery ranges, including counter lines and seasonal products
  • Executing sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets
  • Expanding distribution, presence, and display in-store
  • Identifying opportunities and sharing market insights with the wider sales and marketing team
  • Representing DKSH at customer and industry events

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven FMCG sales experience with a track record of success in the route trade
  • Sales and negotiation expertise, consistently achieving or exceeding targets
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
  • Relationship-building ability, fostering long-term partnerships with customers
  • Results-driven mindset with a proactive, collaborative approach
  • Tech-savvy skills, including MS Office and mobile tools (iPads) for business reporting
  • A current full driver’s licence (territory travel required)
