Senior Territory Manager, Central/Lower North Island
About the Role
In this role you will drive sales performance and sustainable business growth across your defined territory and lead regional sales strategy execution, build key customer relationships, and develop a high-performing team to deliver outstanding results.
What You Will Deliver
- Drive revenue growth across the Central/Lower North Island territory by taking full ownership of all product lines and leading the execution of the regional sales strategy, with a focus on distribution, in-store presence, and display excellence
- Achieve and exceed financial performance targets, providing regular structured updates to the National Field Sales Manager (NFSM) on territory performance and key commercial drivers
- Execute territory sales activities including product portfolio introductions, in-store merchandising, marketing display set-ups, and order management to maximise sales impact
- Ensure retail partner stores, including Woolworths, The Warehouse Limited (TWL), and Foodstuffs North Island (FSNI), are consistently maintained to the highest presentation standard
- Build and manage strong customer relationships by responding promptly to orders and queries, proactively communicating promotions and new products, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure reliable delivery
- Lead, engage, and develop a team of two Territory Managers, fostering a culture of empowerment, accountability, and continuous growth
What You Bring
- Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience in selling and the sales process within the FMCG industry
- Proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders, bringing together diverse perspectives to build alignment through thoughtful and considered strategies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to express ideas clearly and present regional performance summaries to a broad range of stakeholders
- Customer-centric mindset with a genuine commitment to understanding business challenges through the customer's perspective and delivering a high standard of service
- Ability to leverage data and resources to identify commercial opportunities and develop compelling customer value propositions
- Research, negotiation, and analytical skills to support business planning and navigate complex challenges
