Title:  Business Development Manager, Biopharma (DACH & BeNeLux)

Job Summary

Our Pharmaceutical Industry team supports customers within the Bio/Pharmaceutical industry with their process development and manufacturing needs, by offering chemical ingredients/raw materials solutions, from APIs and intermediates to excipients and Biopharma ingredients. 

Are you passionate in formulating possibilities for Biopharma? As a Business Development Manager, you will drive revenue growth, expand customer base, and identify new market opportunities for DKSH Biopharma across the DACH and BeNeLux regions. Ideally based in Hamburg, you will be the key interface between biopharmaceutical customers and international chemical ingredients manufacturers.

General Responsibilities

• Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities in the Biopharma chemical ingredients market across DACH and BeNeLux
• Build strong, lasting partnerships with key decision-makers, R&D and procurement teams (up to 50% travel)
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and proposals to negotiation and closing; winning business partnerships with manufacturing partners
• Maintain sales pipeline on CRM and share progressive insights through regular reporting

Functional Skills and Knowledge

• Master’s Degree or Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Chemistry or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in sales, business development, or technical support within the Biopharma industry or similar sectors
• Highly motivated and target driven with high time-management skills
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a variety of sales, negotiation and persuasion skills
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Fluent in English and German; additional languages are a plus
