Job Summary

  • Drive sales growth of thermal analysis and rheology instruments.
  • Target industries: polymers, plastics, cement & construction, chemicals, coatings, and research institutes.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to deliver complete solutions.

General Responsibilities

A. Sales & Business Development

  • Meet/exceed sales targets.
  • Identify new opportunities and manage full sales cycle.
  • Maintain pipeline via CRM tools.

B. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with R&D centers, universities, QC labs, etc.
  • Understand needs and propose solutions.
  • Conduct visits and follow-ups.

C. Product Demonstration & Technical Support (Pre-Sales)

  • Work with specialists for demos and trials.
  • Communicate technical benefits clearly.

D. Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Track trends and competitors.
  • Support marketing strategies and attend events.

E. Internal Collaboration

  • Coordinate with service, application, and marketing teams.
  • Provide field feedback for improvement.

Functional Skills and Knowledge

  • Experience: 2–3 years in scientific instrument sales; familiarity with thermal analysis, rheology, XRF, XRD, etc.
  • Skills:
    • Technical: Material characterization, product presentations, CRM tools.
    • Soft: Communication, negotiation, customer focus, independence, and travel readiness.

Education

Degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Polymer Science, or related.
