Job Summary

Conduct quality control inspection to ensure consistent quality and integrity of raw materials and finished products

General Responsibilities

• Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources
• Assist in the writing and updating of inspection procedures, protocols and checklists
• Conduct quality control inspection of raw materials/finished products/packaging materials according to defined criteria prior to release to market
• Document the results of inspections and testing
• Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action to superior
• Participate in the construction and/or revision of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the inspection function
• Assist in providing training to operation staff on updated procedures and quality standards
• Interact with vendors to ensure quality of all purchased parts

Functional Skills and Knowledge

• Demonstrate knowledge in quality inspection, auditing and measurement techniques
• Demonstrate knowledge in quality assurance/control methods, principles and practices, including statistical analysis and sampling techniques
• Proven skill in conducting studies and investigations, problem analysis, and developing logical and documented recommendations
• Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken

Education

Diploma/certification in quality-related courses
