Title: Senior Specialist Quality Management

Job Summary
Ensures company compliance to halal, food safety, quality, regulatory and statutory requirements.
Acts as the document control custodian to manage and maintain DKSH documents related to the food safety and quality management system.
Acts as the quality management coordinator in DKSH-PM.
Adheres to the approved Key Performance Indicators (KPI) targets in the performance of assigned tasks.
General Responsibilities

Quality Management
- Ensures compliance with QM policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Monitors KPIs and reports updates; supports budget preparation and tracking.
- Prepares monthly reports covering compliance, audits, complaints, document management, and recall/training status.
- Maintains and updates documented systems (policies, procedures, etc.).
- Analyzes data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Provides technical support and recommendations for quality and process improvements.
- Reports non-conforming products and participates in relevant meetings and trainings.
Food Safety & Quality Management System
- Leads/participates in audits, reviews, and regulatory activities (including halal and food safety).
- Maintains and communicates FSQMS procedures.
- Acts as auditor/auditee for internal and external audits.
- Manages recall activities, customer complaints, corrective actions, and product returns.
- Ensures required supplier/material documentation is valid and complete.
- Coordinates training programs and ensures confidentiality of sensitive documents.
Document Control
- Oversees control, distribution, updating, and archiving of all QM documents and records.
- Coordinates with departments to maintain accurate and updated documentation.
- Ensures compliance with document control procedures and availability on SharePoint.
- Conducts audits on document control and addresses findings.
- Protects confidentiality and handles document requests from customers/regulators.
Internal Assessment & Compliance
- Plans and executes internal audits, mock recalls, and crisis simulations.
- Performs gap assessments for new standards and customer requirements.

Functional Skills and Knowledge
At least five (5) years of experience in Quality Management for a food manufacturing company or an ingredient trading company with Quality Management functional experience preferably in QMS or FSSC or FSMS ISO22000.
Has experience in the development and implementation of Food Safety, Quality and Halal Management System, and other related system and programs.
Knowledgeable in risk management and corrective action program.
Has experience in participating in Internal Audits of own company and External audits of supplier and vendor.
Has working knowledge of applicable regulations on materials – Food/Pharma/Chemicals manufacturing.
Has at least attended training on the following – Halal, FSMS ISO22000 or FSSC, ISO 9001, Internal Quality Audit (IQA), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), GLP, GDSP and GMP.
Ability to work with changing priorities.
A detail-oriented individual who can work independently and exercise sound judgment doing the assigned tasks on hand.
Excellent organizational, problem solving and interpersonal skills and Initiative abilities.
Education
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Biology, Food Technology, Chemistry or any related course/discipline
