Title:  Senior Specialist SAP Applications

Job Summary

As a Senior SAP Specialist, you will be part of DKSH’s European & North American SAP Specialist Team, contributing to the implementation and continuous improvement of SAP S/4HANA across the organization. Your focus will be mainly on the Sales & Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) modules, supporting business stakeholders, defining functional requirements, and ensuring successful delivery of SAP solutions.

General Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business departments to gather and analyze requirements mainly related - but not limited - to SD and MM processes.
• Design and document functional specifications and process flows.
• Configure SAP S/4HANA modules (SD/MM/Others) to meet business needs.
• Lead and support SAP implementation and enhancement projects across Europe & North America.
• Conduct system testing, user training, and post-go-live support.
• Coordinate with ABAP developers and other IT teams for technical developments.
• Act as a key contact for SAP-related inquiries and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards and best practices in SAP project delivery.

Functional Skills and Knowledge

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD and/or MM modules; experience with other modules will be considered a plus.
• Proven experience in SAP project implementation, preferably with S/4HANA.
• Strong understanding of business processes for Procurement to Pay, Order to Cash, and SCM/Logistics.
• Experience working in multinational or matrix organizations.
• Ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions.
• Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); other European languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe.
