Job Summary

In this role, you will help grow our business by finding new opportunities, building strong relationships with customers, and supporting the success of our team in Spain.

General Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth across industrials markets
  • Drive sales growth by consistently forecasting to set achievable revenue targets
  • Achieve sales objectives within the assigned segment, while efficiently managing costs and gross margin
  • Proficient in cold calling to generate leads and drive sales growth
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with business partners and customers
  • Lead negotiations and conclude deals with customers
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge
  • Represent DKSH at industry events and trade shows

Functional Skills and Knowledge

  • Residence in Barcelona area
  • Degree/Master’s in Chemical Engineering or similar related discipline
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of proven technical & sales management experience
  • Deep knowledge of industry and trends for the Specialty Chemicals Industry, specifically within coatings, inks, adhesives, construction, polymers and related markets
  • Strong negotiation and communication abilities
  • Highly motivated and target driven with good time-management skills
  • Fluent writing and speaking skills in both English and Spanish
  • Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools
  • Good knowledge of office tools (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
