Specialist, Facility Management
About the Role
The Specialist, Facility Management supports the effective execution of daily facilities operations across DKSH's business premises in Thailand, ensuring that building management, safety, and maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with DKSH's operational guidelines, governing regulations, and service level agreements. This role contributes directly to a safe, well-maintained, and efficient work environment that enables the broader organization to operate at its best.

What You Will Deliver

  • Support the management of day-to-day operating expenditures within approved budgets, ensuring resources are utilized efficiently and cost controls are upheld.
  • Coordinate and provide administration support for daily facilities maintenance and operations, ensuring activities are executed on time and to established standards.
  • Support the implementation of building and premises services, including maintenance records, security and safety checks, office administration, cleaning, catering, and waste management.'
  • Monitor and track compliance with safety, health, and environment (SHE) requirements, compiling accurate data for periodic reporting purposes.
  • Track and maintain updated records on space allocation and utilization plans across existing and new business premises to support effective space planning.
  • Monitor the progress of cost control and process improvement initiatives related to facility management, contributing to continuous operational efficiency.
  • Maintain an updated database of external vendor contacts and safeguard service agreements covering electrical, air conditioning, plumbing, waste management, and related services.
  • Track and record scheduled facility inspections and assessments for business premises and assets, including furniture, utilities, transport services, and equipment.
  • Distribute communication materials relating to facility management updates to ensure relevant stakeholders remain informed.
  • Drive continuous self-learning and professional development in Facility Management and DKSH organizational values as part of a commitment to growth.
  • Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required.

 

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Sound understanding and practical application of local regulations within facility management systems and processes.
  • Basic project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple activities and track progress effectively.
  • Proficient in office productivity tools including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in the local language, with working proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
