About the Role
What You Will Deliver
- Deliver comprehensive financial analysis and insights to the Business Unit Controller, covering feasibility assessments, contractual negotiations, client and customer profitability, investment decisions, and the tracking and management of key financial issues.
- Lead and participate in Business Unit continuous improvement initiatives to streamline controlling processes and reporting, driving greater efficiencies through enhanced utilization of automated systems.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration within the Business Unit to ensure timely visibility of financial performance and effective resolution of financial issues.
- Partner with local Business Unit controllers to ensure consistency in analytics and reporting, delivering high-quality business control support across the organization.
- Evaluate and appraise new business opportunities in collaboration with business development teams and key stakeholders, leveraging the Deal Assessment Template (DAT) to gather relevant data, calculate costs to serve, and simulate financial projections.
- Support business development and operations teams in preparing competitive fee proposals for client submissions.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of all completed and approved business appraisals using the Deal Assessment Template (DAT).
- Develop deep expertise in Healthcare activities costing systems and establish unit costs for use in the Deal Assessment Template (DAT), in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Act as the key financial liaison between client finance teams, DKSH operations, and related parties during new client integrations, providing guidance on finance-related matters throughout the process.
- Investigate loss-making client accounts by identifying root causes and contributing factors, and propose actionable solutions to mitigate financial losses.
- Provide cost calculation support to cross-functional teams for potential client requirements and evolving business models.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Minimum of five years of extensive experience across commercial, finance, controlling, and financial planning functions, preferably in the healthcare business.
- Proven expertise in financial planning, financial statement reporting and analysis, and controlling.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a highly collaborative approach and effective business partnership capabilities.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with a high level of computer literacy.
- Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
- Background in the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.
- Ability to understand financial concepts and interpret complex technical information.
- Proven ability to manage complex planning and reporting processes.
