Job Summary

You will lead professional development for Supply Chain Management (SCM) at the Group level to help employees to develop to their full potential, in alignment with organizational needs and goals. This includes a strong focus on developing, maintaining and deploying a relevant technical competency framework for SCM with the endorsement and support of SCM leadership, and setting priorities and direction for leadership and essential skill development for SCM employees. You are key to ensuring that the SCM function has a robust, strategic learning roadmap tailored to its needs and is aligned with organization-wide standards and expectations.

General Responsibilities

•    Develop, maintain and deploy a technical competency framework 
•    Analyze and identify Learning and Development (L&D) needs that will support the delivery of the SCM strategy and the building of the requisite competencies
•    Develop and implement a L&D plan that is market-competitive, to build SCM competencies and behaviors 
•    Partner, collaborate, bring together and influence stakeholders to create, organize and deploy L&D solutions and opportunities that are aligned to business priorities and build a supportive learning culture
•    Design and monitor the metrics to determine the success of programs 
•    Acts as a principal point of contact for employees or stakeholders who have questions about L&D in SCM
•    Design and produce training materials for required learning programs as needed, in appropriate formats
•    Partner the core Fantree Academy (L&D peers focusing on leadership and essential skills) to provide feedback on course catalogue and leverage Group learning resources relevant to SCM
•    Guide, brief and direct external vendors to ensure quality and sustainability of services provided
•    Tracks budgets, negotiates contracts, builds and maintain relationships with third-party training providers
•    Stay abreast of latest developments in L&D in the market, and incorporate new techniques and thinking into training materials as appropriate
•    Represent Group L&D and HR team when engaging with SCM stakeholders on Group-level L&D and HR topics
•    Balancing SCM L&D and Group L&D priorities, in collaboration with stakeholders, to ensure solutions developed are appropriate to SCM and aligned with global priorities and direction
 

Functional Skills and Knowledge

•    MNC-level expertise in L&D 
o    Learning needs diagnosis
o    L&D roadmap development
o    Instructional design
o    Training/workshop content creation in different formats (classroom and digital learning) 
o    Delivery of in-person and virtual training content in a multi-national organization
•    Able to understand and sensitively manage cultural sensitivities especially in international/cross-cultural interactions
•    Technologically and digital savvy – Office 365, particularly MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams, and comfortable using online software, example Miro, Menti.com
•    Project management 
•    Analytical ability
•    Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English
•    Customer and business-centric mindset
•    Continuous improvement mindset
•    Resourcefulness and solutions-oriented
•    Comfortable with presenting and public speaking
•    Familiarity with SuccessFactors Learning Management System is an added advantage
•    Familiarity with e-learning design tools is an added advantage 
•    Minimum five to eight years’ experience in a similar role
•    Prior experience and in-depth knowledge in Supply Chain Management is an added advantage

Education

•   Bachelor’s degree or recognised certificates in HR, L&D, Psychology, Education, Business or a related field
