Title: Engineer Application Engineering

Job Purpose
The Application Engineer is responsible for providing technical support during pre-sales, project execution, and after-sales stages. This role ensures that proposed solutions meet customer requirements in terms of both technical specifications and cost efficiency, while supporting successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Pre-Sales Support

Review technical requirements and prepare product comparisons aligned with customer requirement. Provide recommendations or advices on suitable solutions considering both cost and technical aspects.

Coordinate with technical teams or factories if require more technical support, including product information and service sales pricing.

Prepare technical solutions and product presentations to customers.

Prepare proposals and cost sheets based on the proposed solutions.

Prepare and update product specifications in both Thai and English for designers or customers to put in TOR.

Prepare comparison product with our competitor, highlighting advantages and disadvantages, and provide training to the sales team.
2. Project Execution

Coordinate with Project Managers (PM) to deliver to manage project timelines according to the defined scope of work.

Coordinate and supervise partners to install 3rd party products and services for costing purposes.

System configuration, system startup, and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) by coordinate with PM, service teams, or 3rd party partners.

Coordinate with partners and PM to prepare shop drawings, As-built drawings (if need), and operation manuals in Thai, and training documents by coordinate with the service team.

Conduct training sessions by coordination with PM and service teams.

Coordinate with Sales, PM, and customer service teams for invoicing processes.

Be able to travel upcountry for site visits and project operations.
3. After-Sales Support

Support the service team for after-sales services (if required).

Investigate and resolve product or installation issues (if required).
4. Other Support
-
Support marketing events as a speaker for public events, partner events, and in-house training sessions.

Support any technical documentation to apply TISI/EIT standard.

Basic Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
-
5–10 years of professional experience in electrical design engineering
-
Ability to work independently and efficiently under tight deadlines
-
Must have valid Electrical Engineering license

Must have valid driving license

Good command of English, both written and verbal communication

Proficient in MS Office and basic application tools, including web-based tools (preferred)

Able to use MS-Office tools and basic application tools, web-usage and web-based tools experience (Preferable)

Proficient with computer hardware and software experience to be advantage.

Solid understanding of computer hardware and software is an advantage

Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
