Title:  Engineer Application Engineering

About the Role

The Engineer, Application Engineering is responsible for delivering end-to-end technical support across presales, project execution, and after-sales stages, ensuring proposed solutions meet customer requirements in both technical specification and cost efficiency. This role is integral to DKSH's Engineering function, driving successful project outcomes and sustaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

What You Will Deliver

• Review technical requirements and develop thorough product comparisons aligned with customer needs, providing well-informed recommendations that balance cost and technical considerations
• Coordinate with technical teams and manufacturing partners to secure additional technical support, product information, and service sales pricing
• Prepare and deliver compelling technical solution presentations and detailed proposals, including cost sheets, tailored to customer engagements
• Develop and maintain product specifications in both Thai and English for designers and customers for inclusion in Terms of Reference (TOR) documentation
• Conduct competitive product analysis highlighting key advantages and disadvantages, and deliver product training to the sales team to strengthen their technical capabilities
• Collaborate with Project Managers (PM) to plan and manage project timelines in accordance with the defined scope of work
• Coordinate and supervise partners in the installation of third-party products and services, ensuring accuracy in scope and costing
• Lead system configuration, system startup, and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) in close coordination with PMs, service teams, and third-party partners
• Prepare and coordinate shop drawings, as-built drawings, operation manuals, and training documents in collaboration with partners, PMs, and service teams
• Conduct structured training sessions for customers and internal stakeholders in coordination with PMs and service teams
• Support invoicing processes by coordinating effectively with Sales, PMs, and customer service teams
• Undertake site visits and project operations, including upcountry travel as required
• Provide technical support to the service team for after-sales requirements and investigate and resolve product or installation issues to maintain customer satisfaction
• Represent DKSH as a technical speaker at public events, partner events, and in-house training sessions to elevate brand presence and knowledge sharing
• Support the preparation of technical documentation in compliance with Thailand Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) and Engineering Institute of Thailand (EIT) standards
• Champion the Quality Management System (QMS) by implementing process-driven and risk-based approaches, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring organizational alignment with QMS objectives
• Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• 5 to 10 years of professional experience in electrical design engineering
• Valid Electrical Engineering license and valid driving license
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver results efficiently under tight deadlines
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and proactive with a target-oriented mindset and a positive, can-do attitude
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Office) and web-based application tools
• Solid understanding of computer hardware and software is an advantage
