Job Summary

  • Provide oversight and strategic insight, design, develop and support implementation of DKSH’s compliance policy framework according to planned Compliance program and external regulatory requirements in the field of Healthcare and other relevant Business Units (Consumer Goods, Technology, Performance Material), including the resolution of non-compliance issues and reporting.
  • Lead the Cluster (Cluster Lead) and the local compliance team in respective countries.

General Responsibilities

Compliance Oversight, Governance and Organization:

  • Develop and drive the Compliance program in partnership with Country Leadership Team (CLT) including through preparation of an annual compliance operating plan addressing the risk profile of the market.
  • Develop and maintain close and effective business partner relationship with CLT, cross-functional team, and colleagues, while maintaining appropriate independence required for a compliance function, to ensure support of business priorities and implementation of strategic projects and to form a unified approach / advice into business strategies.
  • In partnership with Head of Country Leadership (HCL) and Local Business Head (LBUMs), set-up and co-chair effective compliance committee (i.e. Country or BU specific CCC) to discuss, address, escalate significant risks and opportunities across the organization, Addresses emerging risk areas, non-compliant trends and procedural gaps.
  • Present Group compliance reports for submission to the Group’s Compliance team as part of communication and accountability on matters pertaining to compliance.

Culture, Training and Communication:

  • Design, develop and execute the Group's corporate compliance training suite (e.g. workshops, handbooks, leaflets, development of compliance website, compliance e-learnings, etc.) as part of compliance education. Run periodic train-the-trainer sessions.

Monitoring, Audit, Investigation:

  • Design, develop and oversee monitoring plan (e.g. SCAR) through a risk-based approach based on country / business priorities to identify trends and emerging risks.
  • Identify cross organization efficiency, control gaps, and or inconsistent local policies and processes (e.g. Interaction with HCPs, Public Officials) and partner with CLT, business process owners and relevant cross-functions to develop proposed mitigation. Assist in remediation. 
  • Lead the conduct of internal reviews/investigations on all reports of non-compliance to ensure that all non-compliances are adequately dealt with and to present the investigation results to the management.

Functional Skills and Knowledge

  • Demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of the healthcare industry and industry codes.
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of developing and execution of an effective corporate compliance and ethics program including conducting process reviews, evaluating risks and controls, and developing policies and training materials.
  • Proven experience in managing internal reviews/investigations and providing meaningful solutions.
  • Proven skills in managing compliance communications bearing in mind local business practices.
  • Able to comprehend and advise on contract agreements.
  • Representing the organization at local bodies/ association.
  • Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Experience in managing automation and reporting tools is desirable (e.g. Power Automate, Power BI, SAP)
  • Demonstrate fluency in Thai and English, both written and spoken. Ability to summarize and articulate complex concept clearly and efficiently.

Education

  • Degree in Accountancy/ Business Studies/ Finance/ Law/ Audit / Medical related fields are preferred.
  • Relevant compliance, audit or risk certifications (e.g. CIA, CPA/ CA, CFE, CRM , etc.) are preferred
