Key Account Manager – Mass Retail

We’re looking for a commercially minded and highly organised Key Account Manager to join our Mass Retail team. This is a customer-facing role working with major retailers including The Warehouse, Woolworths NZ, and Chemist Warehouse, supporting growth across a diverse and exciting portfolio of leading beauty, personal care, and lifestyle brands.

Some of the amazing brands you will work with include Rimmel London, Sally Hansen, Covergirl, Essence, O.P.I., Natio, Bioderma, Lanocreme, Clairol, Fudge, St Tropez, LifeStyles, SKYN, and more.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with key retail customers to drive profitable sales growth
  • Support and execute new product launches, promotions, pricing changes, category reviews, and trade marketing initiatives
  • Analyse sales performance, prepare forecasts, and deliver accurate reporting and presentations
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and support new business initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with Brand, Supply Chain, Field Sales, Logistics, and Digital teams to ensure flawless execution
  • Provide customer insights and feedback to support brand and category strategy

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience in Key Account Management, Sales, Brand, or Commercial roles, ideally within Beauty or FMCG
  • Experience working with major retailers and building strong customer relationships
  • Strong analytical capability with confidence working with sales data, forecasting, and reporting
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and confident presenting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
  • A proactive, resilient mindset with a strong drive to achieve results
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-moving environment
  • Experience with Excel, and ideally SAP, Circana, or Nielsen
