Customer Care Representative – Performance Materials

Performance Materials specialises in delivering innovative solutions through food ingredients and raw materials across various industries such as pharmaceuticals, coatings, plastics, personal care, and agriculture. We take pride in contributing to the creation of everyday products that enhance your life.

We are currently seeking a Customer Care Representative to join our Supply Chain team based in Auckland. This role is critical in delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring accurate order processing, and supporting seamless end-to-end delivery for our customers.

About the Role

You will manage customer orders from entry through to delivery while providing day-to-day sales support and administrative assistance. This role requires strong attention to detail, confidence working with numbers, and sound decision-making to ensure accurate pricing, orders and customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality customer service and respond promptly to customer enquiries
  • Accurately enter and manage customer orders, pricing and adjustments
  • Provide sales support and administration, including order confirmations, credits and reporting
  • Monitor outstanding orders and proactively manage delivery issues
  • Apply strong numeracy skills to validate quantities, pricing, credits and invoices
  • Make informed decisions to resolve issues within agreed guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements
  • Support DIFOT and customer service performance targets

About You:

  • Strong communication, organisational and administration skills
  • High attention to detail with confidence working with numbers
  • Sound judgement and effective decision-making ability
  • Proactive, solutions-focused and eager to learn
  • Confident using IT systems (Excel, Word; SAP desirable)
  • Experience in customer service, sales support or supply chain is an advantage
