Customer Account Manager – WWNZ

We’re currently looking for a commercially sharp, relationship‑driven Customer Account Manager – WWNZ to join our high-performing Grocery team based in Auckland. You’ll take responsibility for one of our most significant customers: Woolworths New Zealand (WWNZ), and be accountable for delivering outstanding commercial results.

What you’ll be doing:

Account Management

  • Lead the commercial interface with WWNZ, presenting NPD, promotions, and category reviews
  • Deliver annual targets including NSV and A&P budgets
  • Provide accurate sales, promotional, and A&P forecasts in line with the S&OP process
  • Monitor and manage trade spend within agreed budgets
  • Analyse market and competitor data to identify opportunities for growth
  • Ensure WWNZ receives exceptional service with timely, solution-focused support

Sales & Field Support

  • Support effective delivery of sales operations and help improve processes
  • Spend time in the field with Territory Managers and support planogram implementation

What you’ll bring:

We’re looking for someone with strong commercial acumen, curiosity, and outstanding relationship-building skills. You will have:

  • Proven FMCG Grocery experience
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills with an analytical mindset
  • Ability to collaborate with key business stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to listen deeply
  • A customer-first mindset with a drive to create solutions and deliver results
  • Experience using scan data and trade maths
