Business Manager – Lindt

Are you a commercially savvy, brand-focused, sales leader with a passion for driving performance in the FMCG space? We’re looking for a Business Manager to take full ownership of Lindt’s brand performance across the New Zealand market.

In this exciting and hands-on leadership role, you’ll be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of brand activity: from strategic planning and forecasting to execution and performance analysis. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to grow market share, deliver business results, and enhance brand visibility at every touchpoint.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Strategy, Marketing & Execution:
    Lead brand planning, budgeting, and execution to meet sales and margin targets. Ensure campaigns, promotions, and NPD launches are well-executed across all channels and marketing platforms
  • Client & Partner Management:
    Build strong, collaborative relationships with Lindt and key retail stakeholders. Act as the key liaison for NPD, promotional planning, pricing strategy, and day-to-day brand operations
  • Commercial & Financial Management:
    Track sales performance, manage A&P budget, and provide monthly reporting. Deliver insights and recommendations to improve ROI and drive sustainable growth
  • S&OP & Forecasting:
    Partner with the supply chain and commercial teams to build accurate forecasts and stock plans. Proactively manage seasonal planning, promotional volume, and stock health
  • Team Leadership:
    Lead and coach a small team to achieve their goals. Support performance development, foster a positive culture, and ensure alignment to business strategy

What You’ll Bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in a senior sales or account management role within the FMCG sector
  • Strong knowledge of the NZ grocery landscape, particularly WWNZ, with established retail relationships
  • Extensive commercial acumen with a deep understanding of sales strategies, trade execution and growth delivery
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with a collaborative working style
  • Data-driven approach, with experience using tools such as Excel, SAP, Power BI, and CRM systems
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach, develop, and inspire high-performing teams
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
