Title:  Technician Technical Service

Job Summary

Coordinate technical service assignments with service technicians, foreman and employees to provide timely and reliable technical services to customers and clients

General Responsibilities

• Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources
• Arrange and coordinate technical services assignments to comply with procedures and processes
• Identify improvement initiatives to improve service quality, reduce turnaround times and optimize costs
• Coordinate work assignments and follow-up on resolution of critical technical and procedural problems
• Order/record service parts and tidiness of service vehicles and take corrective actions
• Record periodical usage, consumption and availability of service spares inventory to support the service business
• Gather information/data to submit accurate records of preventative maintenance, installations, repairs, time, services, expenses, etc.
• Maintain good working relationships with suppliers and customers
• Respond to customer queries and resolve basic issues in collaboration with the relevant departments

Functional Skills and Knowledge

• Demonstrate working knowledge in scientific and medical instruments
• Demonstrate working knowledge and experience in trouble-shooting of technology and scientific equipment
• Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken

Education

Certificate/diploma in Engineering (Electronic, Electrical, Mechanic, Bio-Engineering) or related field
