Job Summary

This function is responsible for all indirect procurement cost across numerous categories such as logistics, warehouses, IT, travel, HR, professional services, and all indirect related goods and services in Food manufacturing.
You'll manage procurement operations for indirect materials and services in accordance with commodity targets, and you'll engage directly with project teams across the organization on a daily basis, for example. Manufacturing operations requirements, logistics requirements, healthcare and technology distribution, non-trade requirements for the Performance Materials sector, commodity needs consolidation, and much more.
Ensure the availability of products and services within the scope of responsibility while reducing procurement costs through the use of integrated business requirements and improving the quality of goods and services procured. You will particularly set up and assist the supplier selection process, as well as ensure that purchased goods and services are both cost-effective and of high quality, and that they are delivered on time.  
Continuous increase in productivity, payment terms with suppliers, catalog adoption, and green procurement. Identify and implement possibilities to improve process simplification and uniformity.

General Responsibilities

Develop strategic partnerships and manage critical supplier performance through stakeholder input, performance-based metric tracking, and strategic business reviews.
Create a Business Award/Bid Comparison Chart and obtain agreement.
Represent commodities with relation to projects, platforms, and solutions.
In problem solving, effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders is required.
Provide strategic and day-to-day procurement-related support to stakeholder groups.
 
 

Functional Skills and Knowledge

Bachelor's degree.
5+ years of procurement/ strategic sourcing experience preferably in indirect procurement
Experience in project procurement management as an advantage.
Strong negotiation skills.
 
Main Work Location: BGC Taguig

Working arrangements: Hybrid setup following local company policy, Amenable to work in Taguig and Canlubang Laguna site as needed
