Job Summary

Manage products from warehouse and deliver to customers on time with right product, right quantity, and right time. To monitor and lead the team for product from inbound receiving, storage, checking and outbound delivery hand over to delivery team. Products to be managed by quantity, batch number, product type and stock location

General Responsibilities

  • Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources
  • Execute local transport strategies, plans and processes to ensure delivery on time with minimum cost, and in alignment with Group's policy
  • Prepare transport schedule including mode and route to ensure everyday deliveries
  • Coordinate resources required including manpower resources, trucks and drivers to ensure efficient transport operations
  • Coordinate communication and resolve vendors' performance/issue to ensure fulfillment of contractual service commitments
  • Design and coordinate strategies and plans to optimize truck capacity (time, cube and weight), delivery on time and minimizing cost per unit
  • Investigate any incidents and take appropriate corrective/preventive action promptly.
  • Leverage on transport management system (TMS) in scheduling, data management and reporting
  • Provide constructive solutions to operational challenges to enhance productivity and minimize costs
  • Handle customers’ inquiries, requests and complaints related to delivery, billing statements preparations and validations
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with vendors, customers and suppliers for optimum delivery to customers
  • Administration the branch according to advice from admin & Manager, warehouse
  • To guide and lead the team for daily operation such as: inbound, outbound, stock checking, 7s and administration the branch.
  • To trade the team when new SOP or revised SOP is released

Functional Skills and Knowledge

  • Demonstrate basic knowledge and understanding of the industry/market/competitors/customers.
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge in assigned products/services/systems and strong selling skills.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrate basic research and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken

Education

Degree in Engineering such as ITC, Polytechnic Institute or related field
