Job Summary
- Strategic planning: Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies aligned with company objectives, focusing on the expansion of the Pharma and Medical Device Clients.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis and identify new business opportunities, trends, and potential partnerships to drive growth.
- Partnership Development: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, potential clients to drive collaboration and business expansion.
- Pipeline Management: Lead the development and management of the new BD pipeline, overseeing the entire cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation.
- Team Leadership: Direct and mentor a team of business development professionals, providing guidance, support, and motivation to achieve targets and strategic goals.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams including SCM, Finance, Legal etc to ensure alignment and seamless execution of business strategies.
General Responsibilities
- Conduct business analysis activities to have a good interpretation of the market situation.
- Develop good business proposal with strong financial terms including sales revenue, cost and margin.
- Maximize number of high potential clients with the knowledge of market development, movement of companies in the industry and of competitors
- Lead the important, complex, controversial or difficult meetings and negotiations with potential Clients and Business Partners to pursue business opportunities and protect the organization’s business interests.
- Develops programs to retain and expand existing company relationships for one or more divisions, product lines, or market segments, and soliciting new business from prospective clients.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Coach subordinate (if any) in all business development activities to achieve the company goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration or related fields such as Science, Marketing, Communication, and Economics
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Marketing would be advantage
- 10 years minimum of experience in the pharmaceutical and/or Medical Device industry
- Knowledge of Pharmaceutical Industry
