Job Summary

You will help drive global and local transformation and operational projects for our performance materials business unit across countries in the South Asia region. (SEA, ANZ, India )

General Responsibilities

  • Independently manage the execution of transformation and continuous improvement projects and initiatives across different markets in the region
  • Analyze processes, collect data and information, and collaborate with others to find solutions for complex business problems
  • Ensure implementation of agreed actions and solutions, monitor adherence to agreed timelines, costs and quality standards to realize targeted benefits
  • Support the design and implementation of global Transformation and Operational Excellence projects and initiatives
  • Act as the regional champion for all Operational Excellence initiatives
  • Build Continuous Improvement capabilities in markets: training and coaching local Operations teams and other relevant Functions
  • Manage stakeholders up to Executive Team
  • Take a leading role in change management and communicate for buy-in

 

Functional Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong analytical & problem solving skills
  • Experienced in process improvement (and digitization)
  • Certified Continuous Improvement practitioner (LEAN / Six Sigma green belt or higher)
  • Familiar with SAP processes and functionality
  • Good understanding of business acumen
  • Excellent in project and change management
  • (Specialty) Chemicals and/or Logistics & Distribution industry experience is a plus
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • A minimum of 6 - 7 years working experience in a comparable role in a corporate or consulting environment.

 

Education

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in business administration, industrial engineering, strategic management or a related field
