Title: Senior Manager, Sales Operations

Job summary:
- Manage client accounts to ensure smooth client business integration and drive business growth of clients.
- Managing operating departmental budgets and costs Accountable for net sales/EBIT/headcount responsibility, where applicable.
General responsibilities:
- Manage day to day operations, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure operations are executed smoothly.
- Manage operating departmental budgets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient usage of resources, where applicable.
- Gather and report client operational results in comparison to KPIs set in the service level agreements
- Take necessary actions to resolve clients' operational issues/service complaints
- Manage and schedule business communications and business review meetings with clients' management teams
- Act as front-line DKSH representative with the client management team to facilitate ad hoc operational issue resolution, escalating to senior management as appropriate
- Act as a DKSH representative to communicate all other necessary issues to clients' management teams
- To collaborate with Principal brand owners in improving trade marketing and sales strategies
- Stock management & inventory to minimise Out Of Stock (OOS) issue and stock expiry.
Functional skills and knowledge:
- Demonstrate strong understanding of FMCG industry/business/products.
- Demonstrate strong client management and communication skills Proven project management skills
- Strong analytical background and knowledge of statistical analysis methods
- Demonstrate appreciation and respect for cultural sensitivities especially in cross-country/-cultural interactions
- Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken. Able to communicate in Chinese is an added advantage.
- Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel – Pivot Table & Vlookup, Word and PowerPoint)
Leadership responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee team’s delivery of team/function goals to drive execution against goals set
- Drive and manage learning and development of team in the area of Client Management and DKSH behaviors to achieve team/function goals
- Drive self-learning and improvement in the area of Client Management and DKSH behaviors as part of continuous learning.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or an equivalent degree will be an added advantage.
Work Experience:
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a product management / client management role in FMCG industry.
- Preferred experience of three (3) to five (5) years sales in General Trade (GT), International Key Account (IKA) and Local Key Account (LKA) in FMCG industry.
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a managerial capacity.
