Job Summary
Responsible for the monthly finance reconciliation and claims for the MY/SG DKSH E-Commerce Business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with monthly claims submission and to monitor by keeping AR Ageing report up to date.
- Analyze customers’ payment performance and check for potential credit risks to mitigate potential payment defaults.
- Coordinates reclass balances from suspense account to customer account.
- Follow up on payments due and check against assigned credit limit/credit policy.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders in monitoring collections (e.g. days sales outstanding, monthly collection targets, etc.) and resolving customer payment issues.
- Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve claims and financial disputes.
- Work closely with customers on collections and reconciliation of balances to ensure accurate and timely recovery of payments.
- Monitoring budget allocations for each brand on the marketplaces.
- Perform invoice submission and monthly claims submission to clients and respective marketplaces.
- Be the go-to person with regards to the e-commerce finance operations and act as the business owner for all digital operations’ financial activities.
- Engage business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, prioritize, validate, document and communicate standard operation procedures.
- Perform Finance related administrative and day-to-day tasks for the team.
- Build and establish a strong relationship with business stakeholders, Regional Digital Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT to deliver business value.
- Work with 3rd party vendors to ensure requirements are executed.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related disciplines.
- Fresh graduates are welcomed.
- Prior experience in a company known for e-commerce or online fulfillment operations related or doing operation finance to a logistic company is a strong plus
- Understanding the flows of E-Commerce backend system
- Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Plus point if familiar with using SAP
- Good finance and account knowledge and hands-on experience on business process design, process architecture, and process levels
- Sensitive to numbers
- Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken
