DKSH Business Unit Performance Materials distributes specialty chemicals and ingredients for food, pharmaceutical, personal care, and various industrial applications. With 53 innovation centers and regulatory support worldwide, DKSH creates cutting-edge formulations that comply with local regulations. With around 1,600 specialists, the Business Unit generated net sales of CHF 1.4 billion in 2023.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Sales Support Specialist to join our team for the Specialty Chemicals Industry Business Line. In this exciting position, you will be based at DKSH Portugal in Maia, Porto. As a Sales Support Specialist, you will leverage your expertise in Sales Support and Customer Service, effectively contributing to our dynamic team and make a real impact.

General Responsibilities

• Assist Sales Managers in day-to-day operations
• Process and oversee customer orders from creation to delivery, collaborating with multiple stakeholders including Global logistics partners
• Provide responsive customer and supplier support in English and the local language, prioritizing customer satisfaction
• Coordinate SAP master data creation and maintenance, manage Purchase and Sales related transactions
• Ensure legal compliance of VAT transactions for Purchase and Sales Orders
• Collect and manage product information for the Sales Manager
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate sample dispatch

Functional Skills and Knowledge

• A Degree in Business Administration, or a similar related discipline
• Proven ability in customer-focused service, administrative tasks and order processing skills
• Prior industry experience in distribution, trading, and export/import as an advantage
• High attention to detail
• Strong knowledge in ERP systems, SAP is preferred
• Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Adaptable and eager to learn in a dynamic environment
