Title:  Intern, IT Service Management

Job Summary

The IT Service Management Design and Transition Team Intern will be an integral part of the team responsible for ensuring the seamless and efficient design and transition of IT services. This internship offers a valuable learning experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment, providing exposure to various aspects of IT service management and a chance to develop key skills necessary for a successful career in the IT industry.

General Responsibilities

• Provide initial support and oversee the management of the team’s ticket queue, ensuring timely resolution.
• Generate informative and engaging contents for the successful launch of new features in the ticketing tools, ensuring seamless adoption.
• Actively participate in the development of tools by contributing to the creation comprehensive and user-friendly documentation. 
• Assist the team in conducting detail analyses of current IT processes and identifying/proposing areas for enhancement and optimization.
• Collaborate closely with team members to establish clear and achievable milestones for Service Design and Transition initiatives. 
• Foster cross functional collaboration with various departments, actively gather and understand requirements to drive improvement and enhancements. 
• Assist in conducting disaster recovery exercise to test the adequacy of existing plan and strategies and procedure in accordance to the plan.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Familiar with IT Service Management frameworks and methodologies ( e.g. ITIL) is a plus.
• Proficiency un using productivity tools such as Microsoft office and ticketing tools.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to a fast paced and dynamic work environment.
• Familiar with content creation tools is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively. 
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.

Education

Currently pursuing degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
